What it treats:

Sunitinib is a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) used mainly in oncology. It blocks several receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor growth, angiogenesis, and metastatic progression — including VEGFR, PDGFR, KIT, FLT3, and RET.

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST)

For adults with unresectable or metastatic GIST after disease progression on or intolerance to imatinib.

First-line or subsequent treatment for advanced kidney cancer.
